What is MUKEKE
MUKEKE is an exclusive trade mark as well as ideological platform for the coordinated production of works of art.
MISSIONS are in the heart of MUKEKE.
Four MISSIONS each year, that means four groups of five invited personalities from the field of contemporary international decorative art, who create a limited set of works, related to one another by their form or content.
MUKEKE is a synthesis of original approaches of top artists working in the area of the so-called free art and design, with a predetermined form of their final products.
MUKEKE is a unique hybrid in the art market.
The works of art of every MISSION are offered on two available levels:
I. 5 x 10 Giclée print on canvas (a limited series of ten pieces from five authors),
II. 5 x a consolidated author’s object (one piece from each author).
Contradictions presented in the works: uniqueness vs. duplicity, exclusiveness vs. availability, work of art vs. product; presuppose that MUKEKE will gain a wide interest and popularity of customers and collectors alike.
MUKEKE’s ambition is to spread contemporary art, and to contribute to its availability.
MUKEKE does not have set limits that would be unsurpassable.
