MUKEKE Ownership
Individually owned work of art.
You have ordered a work of art from MUKEKE:
The painting that you ordered is printed in a limited series, on canvas, by the Giclée Printing technology.
MUKEKE does not print in advance, and does not store the pictures. The inks that are used for printing, in combination with a conserving lacquer layer provide a guarantee for hundred years - as far as colour stability and print are concerned.
The Giclée printing market is very dynamic all over the world.
Reputable institutions, like the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, both in New York City have works of art created by Giclée printing technology in their collections. Recent auctions of Giclée prints yielded, for instance, $10,800 for Annie Leibovitz’s creation; $9,600 for Chuck Close’s and $22,800 for Wolfgang Tillman’s works of art.
